We are looking for a WASH Coordinator :
Country: Iraqi Kurdistan – Erbil
Length of contract: 12 months starting from the 15th of January 2017
The position: Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director, you will have to guarantee the quality, relevance and scaling up of WASH strategy and interventions of the mission, in conformity with ACF and international standards and national policies
More precisely, the main responsibilities will be :
- Design ACF technical country strategy for the WASH Department and contribute to ACF technical expertise
- Coordinate the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposals
- Oversee the implementation of programs (emergency and post emergency WASH intervention, emergency preparedness, and develop longer-term program) and ensure their reporting
- Manage the human resources: recruitment of a Deputy Coordinator WASH, assist and support the PM nationalisation ongoing on Dohuk base and follow-up of 10 WASH staff in Kalar, 25 WASH staff in Dohuk, no visibility for Erbil so far (WASH activities will start on October 30th in camp refugees following Mosul battle)
The applicant: You hold a Master Degree WASH-related technical training with a solid experience of 3 years minimum in WASH activities and coordination in humanitarian context.
You demonstrate the ability to provide professional technical advice in a broad range of WASH technical areas. You are able to work in culturally and ethnically sensitive enviroments, as well as in areas of conflict. You are recognized for your diplomacy, your organization and your analytical skill.
You speak and write English fluently
Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 depending on relevant experience
Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective or individual accommodation, medical insurance
25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year
